Red and White Services, Ltd., has recently taken over the Newport-Old Lighthouse services operated by Mr. B. J. Davies (Coast Line Omnibus Service), the Newport Council having transferred the licences.
Amongst recent bus developments in South Wales areas have been the granting of an Aberystwyth-Rheidol Fails licence to the G.W.R., the sanction by Mynyddislwyn Urban District Council for services to be run by Blue and White Bus Service, Ltd., on the Ystrad Mynach-Pontllanfraith route, and the inception by the South Wales Transport Co., Ltd., of Swansea, of Pouterdawe-Senny Bridge-Brecon services.
