• The second preliminary conference of delegates from independent bus proprietors' associations is to take place to-day, and it is anticipated that a National Advisory Council of Publicservice Vehicle Owners' Associations will be brought into being. It will he remembered that the initial meeting of delegates took place on January 13th. There may be some associations which have not heard of the scheme, and all interested should, without delay, communicate with the secretary of the Motor Hirers' and Coach Services Association, at 72, Great Portland Street, London, .W.1. The results of to-day's important conference will, of course, be duly published in this journal.
