Rental and Leasing Association is holding courses for managers in contract hire and leasing sectors.

There are five classes: Rental Operators is recommended for new managers or those who want to update basic skills in running a firm. It costs £145 for members or £170 for nonmembers and will be held on 27-28 January. Rental Management covers essential management disciplines including costing and accounting (£175 members; £195 non-members. 2526 January). Leasing/Contract Hire is for sales and marketing personnel, managers, and senior executives (costs and dates as above).

Maintenance Controllers is for newcomers to the field, but delegates should have a basic appreciation of vehicle mechanics (26 January; £90 members; 115 non-members). Tyre Management is on 27 January; cost as above).
