TTENDANCE at the fourth world rt meeting of The International Road Federation, Ltd., in Madrid (October 1620) is expected to exceed 2,000. Generalissimo Fransiscp Franco, Spanish Head of State, has accepted the honorary presidency of the meeting, which will be held in the Casa Sin dical in the centre of the city.

Papers will be delivered on every aspect of road development by leading world personalities in this particular field. Summaries of these reports in English, French and Spanish will be distributed at the meeting; simultaneous translation • in these three languages should greatly facilitate discussion at the working sessions.
